Love Notes, Volume 3
A shortlist of things I'm currently coveting, plus a few recipes from this week.
Good morning, friends!
Holy moly it has BEEN A WEEK. I am very, very ready for the weekend. Slow mornings & literally nowhere to be… which feels amazing!
Before we get into my most loved, I wanted to share a few dinner wins from our kitchen this week!
I made three recipes from What to Cook When You Don’t Feel Like Cooking (truly… title winner 😂 & on sale for $20). The dishes are creative & fresh, decently healthy, but still pretty simplistic.
We tried:
• Pnutty Pork (even good leftover)
• Garlicky Grains (kids ate the chicken sausage)
• The Dilly Chop Salad (served with steak)
For lunches, I made this detox kale salad with roasted chicken (& added some goat cheese) that I genuinely loved. It keeps so well in the fridge, which makes it perfect for busy days when I don’t want to think about what I’m eating!
Now, let’s get into this week’s Love Notes.
If you’re new here, this little series is inspired by Brooklyn’s middle name, Love. She doesn’t hand out her “loves” lightly. You have to earn your stripes with her. And I kind of feel the same way. So when something makes it into Love Notes, it’s because I truly adore it.
Here’s what I’ve been swooning over this week… 💛
Ok, sadly, this can’t be linked but get excited because my collection with HerStory & Famn Mon will launch to you all first on March 3! I can’t really pick favorites, but the green Julie mini dress might be a top contender… you instantly feel happier when you put it on! I think I am going to wear it to the launch party next week.
These green and white slides are tres chic.
Obviously there is a color trend. I am loving pistachio and wore this sweater two days in a row this week. If you love the color & don’t want the weight of a sweater, this basic tee is also a winner.
Julia Amory truly kills a set, and this chocolate print skirt shell set is stunning! I wear TTS in her skirts and for smaller chests, I would size down one in the top.
This dress is on the way to me & think its the perfect splurgey spring break dress. This is also a good one if you are wanting something under $100 (use code CHARLI15 for 15% off).
A love note to my ZIIP Halo bc its literally changed my face. I used to always feel like my face was puffy and undefined & its like a workout for your face using micro/nano currents. From my experience, it can even heal a zit in 24-48 hours. Its multifaceted & you can use it for so many things. I just ordered the new and improved version w/ stronger currents. I have used this almost daily for about 1.5 years & have gotten every bit of my moneys worth! Use ZIIPCHARLI for 10% off.
I own at least 5 of these tees, they are perfect, & just ordered a gray one for spring. These was and wear SO nicely and look like new even after years of use.
New Boden is insane & this floral blazer is giving Cara Cara at half of the price tag.
For the kids, Fields got in this knit polo and it is scrumptious. I ordered this little comfy set in almost every color (one of her faves) for Brooklyn, but this print is ADORABLE!
